To support our team we are looking for flexible service employees (m/f) on a part-time basis, either immediately or by appointment. Service at weddings, seminars and hotel guests. Our Panorama Hotel/Restaurant is situated in the middle of the beautiful Emmental, at 1144 m above sea level, surrounded by alpine meadows and extensive fir forests with a fantastic view of the Bernese Alps and the Jura. We regularly welcome groups for festivities, weddings and seminars. During the day the restaurant is self-service. In the evening we welcome guests with service. To support our team, we are looking for flexible Chef de Service(f/m), either immediately or by appointment. You are motivated to enrich our team with your friendly, open manner, which is also appreciated by our guests?

About the company: The Panoramahotel and Restaurant Bärnsicht on Lüderenalp was founded in 2018 and has been under the management of Michael Hoff ever since. In addition to the managing director, our team includes a deputy managing director, two chefs and a team of temporary staff, flexibly deployable as required. Hospitality is our top priority and we value a warm and familiar working atmosphere.


Areas of responsibility:
You are responsible for the entire service area and lead a team of part-time and temporary staff.


Your tasks include:
- Opening and closing restaurants
- Supervision of breakfast buffet and self-service area
- Service in the restaurant and on the terrace
- Manage guest reservations
- Personnel coordination and personnel management for events
- Small administrative and control tasks such as daily closing

You bring with you:
- You have completed training in the hotel/catering industry
- You have several years of experience in service
- You have a host mentality, very good manners and a professional appearance
- You bring joy in your job and welcome our guests with charm every day
- You are characterised by efficiency and organisational talent
- They can be used flexibly in the evening and at weekends
- You have a good oral and written knowledge of German, knowledge of English and/or French would be an advantage
- You are between 26 - 50 years old
